The Great British Bake Off Series 6

Once again 12 new bakers don their aprons and head for the iconic Bake Off Tent in the heart of the British countryside. Judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood have created 30 new challenges to test their baking prowess, from Victorian classics and high-end patisserie, to chocolate sculptures and everyday staples. With them every step of the way are Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, ready to lend a hand or a shoulder to cry on. The bakers’ first Signature Challenge is to make a Madeira cake, then it’s the first Technical Challenge – Mary’s frosted walnut cake, topped off with a Black Forest gateau Showstopper.
