In this unique and bold social experiment, Muslims Like Us witnesses these issues played out for real.Ten British Muslims who represent the diversity of their faith move into their new home together; as each meets and settles in they begin to explore how their faith impacts their lives. The Great British Sewing Bee: Series 6

The hunt to find Britain’s best amateur sewer is back, and it’s bigger than ever. In Series 6, 12 passionate amateurs from all walks of life, including a grandmother, a dancing student and a paramedic, are pitting their talents against each other in the sewing room.

Host Joe Lycett welcomes the sewers to an old tannery loft in the heart of Bermondsey, South London. He’s joined by the judges; film costumier and Central St Martin’s lecturer Esme Young and Saville Row tailor Patrick Grant.

The judges have tricky challenges up their sleeves and over ten weeks the sewers tackle difficult tailoring, food shaped fancy dress, 80s cocktail dresses and beautiful outfits for every occasion. Their skills need to stretch from rugby shirts to flamenco skirts…but only one can be crowned winner of The Great British Sewing Bee 2020.

The best of the nations' amateur bakers don their aprons and head for the iconic tent in the heart of the British countryside.  As ever Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins will be with them every step of the way. Judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood have created 30 brand new challenges that will test their baking prowess. Each week, one baker will claim star baker and one baker will leave the tent. Beginning Wednesday 24th August 2016 at 8pm.

The bakers are helped – or hindered – by Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins. On your marks, get set…BAKE!
