The Piano for Channel 4 wins Best Original Programme at The Broadcast Awards
Love Productions were delighted to accept the award at the Broadcast Awards last night.
The Broadcast judging panel praised the format's combination of documentary values and talent show as 'fresh and distinctive' and said that 'The Piano reinvented the talent show with an authenticity and real world reference that was refreshing'. They were impressed with the diversity of the casting, describing it as 'the real achievement' of the show.
